My birthday PARTY!

The big 2-8! Yikes. I turned 28 this past Sunday and had a great birthday weekend. On Saturday Troy and I went out to dinner at The Sample Room w/ a great group of my close friends: Amy, Jen, Katie and Ash & Sarah. It was a great time. They have a nice variety of sample plates (a fun spin on appetizers) with some fun drink specials.

On Sunday Troy and I went over to my parents house and had a YUMMY birthday dinner. Mamma made my favorites... lasagna and my favorite birthday dessert - peppermint ice cream cake. Both grandma Ann and grandma Joan were there to celebrate as well; it was so nice to have them there together. We were about to take some pictures, but my camera battery went dead. :( It was a very nice birthday weekend and helped to make the big 2-8 a bit easier.
