Moving

We're finally moved in! Troy and I have been busy moving, unpacking boxes and still working on the house for the past week. There are SO many new, fun things to share, but I can't seem to find my camera cord to download pictures to the computer. As soon as I find it, there will be LOTS of new pictures.

We moved in the day after Christmas and put up Troy's Christmas tree so that we could celebrate w/ Kaitlyn - Santa came with lots of goodies! Daddy bought Kaitlyn an "Ally-Oop" which is the big hit this year. It's a basketball game with two hoops and an electronic score board - very fun! I have a video of Kaitlyn and Troy playing and will add it in a few days.

What's new with the house? LOTS! The granite counter tops were installed on Christmas Eve day... a great early present. :) The faucets have been installed and we now have running water in the kitchen, yay! Almost everything is painted - ma and pa helped paint the main level, which was great. They've helped with so many things over the past few months and we are so thankful! The carpet has been installed - LOVE IT! I painted the main bathroom today a chocolate brown; it looks so nice with the white trim. We got a new fridge and stove. The fridge was a great buy!! It has french doors on top with the freezer on the bottom. Troy put in a GREAT closet organizer in our master closet and I love that as well.

It's such a great feeling to come home to our new house. We've put countless hours in here and it's paying off tenfold.

I hope everyone had a safe and happy New Years! We did appetizers with a few other couples and then headed downtown to Gluek's. We played the Newlywed game and it was hilarious! We were all laughing at answers and had so much fun. I highly recommend it for a group of couples. :)
